L.E.A.D. Recognizes Outstanding Employees

L.E.A.D. held its annual year-end recognition event near its New Jersey headquarters to to celebrate another successful year supporting the mission of drug and violence prevention for youth as a community partnership for law enforcement agencies. The event was attended by staff, their families, LEADers, board members, vendors, and supporters from throughout the region.

During the festivities, L.E.A.D. Executive Director and CEO Nick De Mauro recognized three outstanding team members with awards.

Nick De Mauro presents the employee of the year award to John Thomson

Dave Kirby Employee of the Year Award

Awarded to an individual who exhibited “Above and Beyond” Service and Accomplishments during 2024 to L.E.A.D. and our Clients. The Award was presented by Suzanne Kirby in honor of her late husband Dave to John Thomson, Director of Data Science.  

Nick De Mauro presents the Spirit Award to Salina Pazdan

L.E.A.D. Spirit Award

Awarded to an individual who exemplifies “The Spirit of L.E.A.D.” including positivity, joy, and support to peers. The award was presented to Salina Pazdan, Coordinator of Human Resources and Special Initiatives because she is a team player who demonstrates enthusiasm and optimism, and helps build a work environment that is collaborative, positive, and respectful. 

L.E.A.D. We Serve Award

Our motto is “WE SERVE” in honor of our success in SERVING our clients. We presented our first WE SERVE Award to a staff member who exhibits exceptional service both externally to our clients and internally to those within our organization. Voted on by everyone in the company, the inaugural We Serve Award was presented to Kyle Everett, Coordinator of Special Projects because of his outstanding dedication and professionalism that contribute to building L.E.A.D.’s national reputation as an organization who SERVES with excellence.   

As we wrap up an outstanding 2024, we are looking forward to 2025 when we will celebrate L.E.A.D.’s 10 years of success!
