Sgt. Mark Higginbottom has been an officer for 16 years. He is the Coordinator for the L.E.A.D. program at the Middle Township Police Department. He currently is the Sergeant for our Special Services Unit, which is our community relation unit and our school liaison unit. He is a graduate of the New Jersey State Association of the Chief of Police Command and Leadership Program. He is married and a proud parent of two young boys. He served in the United States Marine Corp, rising to the rank of Sergeant. This year Sergeant Higginbottom created and organized the first ever Middle Township Police Department Youth Summer Camp. The camp targeted kids between sixth-eighth grade and was a week long free of charge for our area youth. The camp was a huge success with nearly 50 kids and over $9,000 raised in donations. This camp will become an annual camp for years to come.
